What to write to us about

Reporting a Panchangam error

If a tithi, nakshatra, sunrise time, Rahu Kalam or festival date looks wrong, please include the date, the page or city you were viewing, the language, and the value you expected along with its source (for example, the name of your printed Panchangam). Many apparent differences come from regional conventions such as Amanta versus Purnimanta month names or a different reference city; our methodology notes explain the conventions we use. Genuine errors are corrected as quickly as we can.

Languages and translations

Vedangam currently publishes in ten languages. If you notice a spelling or translation problem, or would like to help with another language, let us know.

Content suggestions and scholarly corrections

We welcome suggestions for new articles and corrections to our pages on the Vedangas, Nakshatras, Navagrahas and the history of Indian astronomy. References to primary texts or published scholarship are especially helpful.
